What we collect
When you choose to contact us, we collect the information you provide, such as your name, phone number, email address, approximate property location, optional property address or rural blue sign number, project goals, site conditions, access details, potential hazards, and any photos or notes you attach. You can contact us directly by phone or email instead of filling out the form. Please do not include passwords, gate codes, financial documents, or other sensitive details. Avoid including identifiable people in uploaded photos without their permission.
Why we use your information
We use it to assess your inquiry, contact you, discuss the scope of work, arrange a site visit if needed, provide an approximate estimate, and maintain reasonable business records. Submitting an inquiry does not book a job or create a fixed-price agreement. We do not use inquiry details or your photos in advertising without asking for permission.
Website forms and service providers
Our website is planned to use Netlify to host the site and receive project submissions, including uploaded photos. When the form is enabled, Netlify processes and stores submissions on our behalf, and we may receive notifications through our business email provider. These services may process or store information in the United States or other locations outside Canada. We use them to operate the website and respond to your inquiry. To ask about our handling of information through service providers outside Canada, or to request our applicable privacy practices, contact Scott Van Dijk using the details below.
Only people who need the details to respond to your inquiry or perform the requested services should have access. We may share necessary information with service providers assisting with the work, where appropriate. We do not sell project inquiry details.
How long we keep information
We keep inquiries and related materials only as long as reasonably needed to respond, manage the business relationship, and meet applicable recordkeeping obligations. When they are no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or securely dispose of them.
Your questions and requests
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, request access or correction, ask about our privacy practices, or raise a concern. You may also ask us to stop using information for optional purposes, subject to applicable legal or recordkeeping requirements.
